professional.ch is the first platform to support apprenticeship graduates and young professionals in their search for jobs and further education based on their learned profession.

An important goal is the integration of young professionals into professional life and thus to reduce youth unemployment in Switzerland in the long run.

Who are we looking for?

A passionated and ambitious person who will become part of the team and will work with us on a project based on the following technologies: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Docker / Kubernetes, Event Sourcing, CQRS and DDD.

What will you be working on?

• creating new and improving existing features in the platform
• developing existing and creating new API-based services using Event Sourcing and CQRS

What are our expectations?

• good knowledge of Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails (Senior Level: several years of commercial experience, Junior Level: some experience)
• comfortable using Javascript, HTML, CSS
• good written and spoken English allowing you to communicate smoothly
• What is a great advantage but not a must: experience in working with DRY, micro services architecture or event sourcing
